IMI founder Dr. Gary Ruelas will be a featured speaker at the 25th Annual Hoag Spirituality Conference on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
This year’s theme, “The Spirituality of Humanity & Humility,” brings together healthcare professionals, faith leaders, and community members to explore the deep connections between identity, compassion, mindfulness, and whole-person well-being. Hosted by Hoag Faith Community Nursing, the conference creates space for meaningful dialogue around how spirituality informs the way we care for ourselves and others.
At the conference, Dr. Ruelas will join a distinguished panel of speakers in examining how empathy, awareness, and spiritual grounding shape patient outcomes, resilience, and human connection within medical practice. His perspective reflects IMI’s core belief that healing extends beyond symptom management to encompass the whole person.
